Chief Solomon Tikhontele Dlamini (80) was granted bail on Monday.
The leader of the Lomshiyo Tribal Authority appeared in the Kabokweni Magistrate’s Court after he was arrested last Friday for the murder of his son, Zwelithini. This is following investigations after he was shot dead at his home last year.

Chief Tinkhontele was granted R7000 bail and will appear in court on December 12.
Meanwhile, Napoleon Joseph Nyalunga was denied bail on Monday. He is accused of the murder of a German tourist.
This is following a shooting incident in Numbi last month. He appeared in the Kabokweni Magistrate’s Court where he failed to prove exceptional circumstances which permit his release on bail.

The matter was remanded to 24 January, 2023 for further investigation.
