MATAFFIN – Grade 12 learners across the country are ready to kick off the 2025 National Senior Certificate (NSC) examinations.
Their determination was evident during a media briefing held by Education MEC, Lindi Masina at Cyril Clarke Secondary School on Tuesday, October 14 where she outlined the state of readiness for this year’s NSC examinations.
Speaking to the media, some learners expressed that despite challenges that come with being a grade 12 candidate, they are aiming to achieve good results.
Thandolwethu Moosa, who says he believes prayer sustains him, shared his thoughts on the upcoming exams.
“I am nervous, but I have no doubt I will do well although it can get a bit emotionally exhausting. Praying before studying helps me and I allocate ample time for each subject. My advice to others is not to go hard on themselves.”
Keabeteswe Matlala, an aspiring lawyer says sacrificing her time has played a major role in her preparations.
“I had to change some habits and I can say there is progress compared to last year. My time is now spent more on my books. I hope by next year this time, I will be enrolled as a law student in one of the country’s universities,” says Matlala.
The NSC examinations will commence on October 21 and conclude on November 27. The 2025 National Senior Certificate Examination Results will be officially announced on 13 January, 2026.
