BARBERTON – “He was loving and when he loved, he loved wholeheartedly.”
That best describes former Deputy President of the African National Congress Youth League, Desmond Moela’s sentiments of the late Deputy President, David “DD” Mabuza who passed away on Thursday, July 3 in hospital.
Moela who was close to Mabuza said he was not only a comrade but a father and brother who played a very crucial role in his life.

“He was a strict person, but he was always there for most of us. He loved wholeheartedly and never missed the chance to give proper advice.“We will miss that about him, among other things. The news of his passing came as a shock, but we will soldier on,” said Moela.
The family is yet to meet and discuss arrangements this afternoon.
