SCHOEMANSDAL- A three year-old girl was killed by at her mother’s workplace on Tuesday May 6.
It is alleged that Ziyalo Lubisi (21) who appeared in the Nkomazi Magistrate’s Court today admitted to the crime claiming he was angry because the child’s mother, a domestic worker at his home did not clean the house properly.
According to reports, the child’s mother left her daughter sleeping on a couch. When she later could not find her, Lubisi directed her to the garage, where she discovered the child’s lifeless body with head injuries.

Police and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene, where the child was certified dead.
Lubisi who resides at the premises with his grandmother (who employs the victim’s mother was arrested. The case was postponed to 14 May, 2026 for a formal bail application.
