Lydenburg police are appealing to members of the public to assist in locating the family of a man whose body was discovered in an advanced state of decomposition June 7, 2025.
According to information, at approximately 12:10, police were alerted to a decomposed body found in a veld near Potgieter Street. The body is believed to be that of an African male. Reports suggest that the deceased may have been known as Mandla Mdluli.
Further reports indicate that the deceased could be originally from the Bushbuckridge or Hazyview areas.
