Three people, a female and two males have died when the vehicles they were traveling in collided head-on and caught fire.
The incident between a light delivery vehicle (LDV) and a sedan happened on the R23 Road between Val and Balfour today (27 May 2025), at about 12h30.

The occupant in the sedan was the female driver, and the two males from the LDV. The victims were burnt beyond recognition.
The cause of the crash is yet to be established.
