The second accident involved a single-vehicle bus accident on the R538 between Mganduzweni and White River.

According to Moeti Mmusi, spokesperson for the Department of Community Safety and Security Liaison, at least four people sustained minor to moderate injuries after the bus experienced mechanical issues, causing some passengers to be flung from the windows.

“Fortunately, no fatalities were reported in either incident,” he said. Moeti added that an investigation has been launched into both accidents to determine their causes.
