MBOMBELA- A local humble petrol attendant, Pillay Reforce Mnisi, is proving that true kindness knows no bounds. The 30-year-old manager at Engen Prime Corner Filling Station in Mbombela has been spreading joy and support to those in need, earning him praise from the online community.
Despite earning a modest income, his generosity has no limits. He often uses his tips to feed homeless people, bringing smiles to their faces and warmth to their hearts. His selfless acts have inspired many, and his commitment to giving back to the community is a testament to the power of compassion and empathy.
In an interview with Mpumalanga Mirror, Mnisi attributes his passion for helping others to his late mother, who taught him the importance of lending a helping hand. “I love to help, and with the little I have, it goes a long way when you share it,” he says. As a petrol attendant, he believes he can showcase his passion, love, and kindness to people.
“I know some people don’t take petrol attendants seriously, for they think it is a useless career for useless people and that’s okay with me because I feed my family out of this job that they call useless. Being an attendant also helps you build strong relationships with genuine customers, and that’s the best part of it.” he adds.

His story reminds us that even small gestures can have a lasting impact. His kindness and compassion inspire many, showing that true generosity comes from the heart, not from seeking online validation.
