THULAMAHASHE – Infrastructure and lack of leadership are some of the factors contributing to the performance in schools.

This is according to Premier Mandla Ndlovu, who paid a visit to Orhovelani High school that attained a pass of rate of 33,3% in the 2024 matric examinations.

His visit is in line with government’s Back To School campaign across the province. When engaging with the personnel and School Governing Body on Tuesday, February 4, a number of concerns were raised. These include infrastructure, teaching methods and the leadership structures within the school.
