Woman appears in court for ex-lover’s murder

The 29-year-old woman accused of stabbing her ex-lover to death remains in police custody after she briefly appeared before the Elukwatini Magistrate’s Court today on charges of murder.

Penuel Twala was fatally wounded allegedly by his former lover and child’s mother on 7 October.

According to the police, Twala went to the woman’s house in the early hours of the morning where a fight broke between them leading to his death.

The case was remanded to 17 October to proceed with bail application.
