Choreographer Lady Vee Mamba passes away

MBOMBELA- The arts and entertainment industry in the province has lost one of its own, Veronica affectionately known as Lady Vee Mamba after a short illness.

According to her younger brother, Themba Sifiso Mamba, Lady Vee was fine until March when she started losing her appetite and started losing weight. “However, last week, when our mother called her last week, she told her she was recovering and had started to eat. We were all happy to hear that she was getting better. Sadly, she passed away yesterday in the afternoon,” he said.

He said her death saddened the family, as they were not expecting this. The self-taught Matsulu was born dancer and MC shot to fame in 2002. She has choreographed several events, including the Mpumalanga Sports Awards, MultiChoice Diski Challenge and the Vodacom Shake Challenge, among others.

Funeral arrangements are still being finalised and will be announced in due course. Lady Vee leaves behind her two children, mother and siblings.
