Emalahleni has been declared a Covid-19 hotspot by the Health MEC, Sasekani Manzini.
This is due to the rising numbers of Covid-19 positive cases. The municipality also released a notice cautioning its residents that they should take precaution by wearing masks in public, social distancing and sanitising.
