MMAMETLAKE- A 23 year-old man has been arrest for the alleged murder of his neighbour.
According to the police, the body of the 30-year-old woman was discovered in a bush on Monday, April 20 by by local women collecting firewood, who then alerted the members of the Community Policing Forum.
Colonel Mavela Masondo confirmed the incident. “The victim who was found with bruises on the body was certified dead on the scene. With the help of the local community, the police arrested the suspect who is reported to be the next-door neighbour of the victim,” Col said Masondo.

He is expected to appear in the Marapyane Periodical Court today facing a charge of murder. More charges might be added pending the investigation.
