“The department can confirm that the two are not employed by the Department Health or Rob Ferreira hospital. Sometimes the perpetrators use names of officials in our employment, post information, names of our health facilities, and use letterheads of the Department of Health on social media to scam the unsuspected victims.
“The Department of health uses well-known print media, government facilities, official social media platforms, and radio stations to advertise vacant posts. The Department of Health is an equal opportunity, affirmative action employer and strictly no money is payable on application or employment,” said MEC Sasekani Manzini.
It further said that the public should know that all vacancies are advertised, followed by a selection process of which interviews are conducted to find a suitable candidate for the position. The department is working with law enforcement agencies to bring the perpetrators to book.
