Mpumalanga-born Paralympian, Thando Mahlangu won a gold medal in the Men’s Long Jump T63 last Saturday. Mahlangu set a new world record with a jump of 7.17 metres, crushing out German Leon Schaefer’s 7.12. Many took to social media to congratulate the athlete including President Cyril Ramaphosa.
