KAMHLUSHWA- A man believed to have taken the life of a pensioner through a shooting is now homeless after his home and workshop were set alight by community members.
This took place when he was released after spending a week behind bars after a 78 year-old man was fatally shot.
“He handed himself over to the police station and appeared in court on Monday, November 13 but his case was not registered. As a result, he was released. Community members were not happy about his return to the community, hence they decided to set both his workshop and house on fire,” reads a police statement.
An arson case has been opened for further investigation.
