The Mpumalanga Department of Health is warning the public about scammers targeting job and bursary seekers.
According to a statement, the scammers mostly use various social media platforms with fake job adverts luring people with possible employment within the department.
Recently, an audio with a male’s voice was circulating where a woman was promised a job at Tintswalo Hospital in the Bushbuckridge Local Municipality using a recent department job advertisement.
Another fake employment advertisement for Standerton Hospital has been doing the rounds on social media, including contact details of the scammers, Sello using contact number, 064 783 7735.

“The department advertise vacancies and bursaries through official platforms, such as the Mpumalanga Department of Health website : http://www.mpuhealth.gov.za and on the Department of Public Service and Administration circular also published on the website, official departmental social media platforms and newspapers,” says the department.
The public is also warned giants paying a fee in exchange of employment. If people are requested to do so, they should report to the police.
