Local Sanco leader Wyne Mashele said they are highly disappointed by the justice system and the manner the case has been handled.
“While we were assisting these women to kake legal action we discovered that he has defrauded other people over R80 000 before and he continues to walk scott free,” said Mashele.
Elukwatini police spokesperson Sergeant Wiseman Nkosi confirmed that the case of fraud has been opened.
“The docket was taken to court on the 26th of September, but somehow it was not placed on the court roll. When a docket is not placed on the roll, the suspect gets released. We are not sure of the reason yet, we are waiting for the docket to return from court to know the reason why it was not rolled,” said Nkosi.
