The police released a statement which they believe Collen Hlongwane can assist in their investigation. “The girl was playing with other children at home. Her family discovered later that she disappeared without a trace.

Her family became concerned after failed attempts to find her. They reported the matter to the police at Masoyi on the same Saturday. She was reported missing. The case is highly prioritised. A specialised unit of Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit (FCS) in Pienaar is handling the matter,” read the police statement.
