Award-winning tennis coach, Sabelo Mathebula, is excited to announce the launch of the second edition of the Mbombela Open.
The launch will take place at the Skukuza Community Centre on Saturday, November 2.
The tennis tournament is set to take place next year May at the Nelspruit Tennis Club in Mbombela. Following the incredible success of the inaugural tourney earlier this year, MO is ready to deliver the second edition of the tournament that will celebrate tennis talent. The sports event is meant to also bring people together and grow Mbombela and the Ehlanzeni District economy.

“MO promises to be even bigger and better, featuring top-ranked players from across the region, new corporate partners, a variety of competitive categories and engaging activities for players and fans alike.
We are looking forward to welcoming both returning participants and new players to the second edition of the tournament, which our ambition is to make it the greatest tennis event in Africa” said Mathebula, who is the tournament director, adding that MO not only showcases incredible tennis talent, but also plays a key role in promoting sports tourism.
