A 48-year-old man was arrested for allegedly stabbing his wife (43) on the evening of Tuesday, December 2 in Ntunda near Tonga.
According to a report, police were conducting routine patrols in the area when they were alerted by community members about a domestic violence incident occurring at a nearby residence. Upon approaching the premises, the suspect was holding a knife.
He was disarmed and entered the premises where they discovered a lifeless body of the female victim, with multiple stab wounds.

The suspect was charged with murder. The knife was confiscated and will form part of the investigation. He is expected to appear in the Nkomazi Magistrate’s Court today.
