Six people killed in Mametlhake crash

Six people were killed in a crash that happened on Friday evening on the D2740 Road in Phaake Village in the Mametlhake area.

The crash occurred when a bus crashed into the rear of the tractor and the sedan. It was was travelling in the opposite direction and crashed into the wreckage of the two vehicles. This resulted in five people, who were all occupants in the sedan being killed instantly.

Emergency services rushed an undisclosed number of people to the nearby Mametlhake Hospital for medical attention. More details will follow. The cause of this is being investigated.
