MAPUTO – It’s official, South Africa is preparing the G-20 Summit in 2025 and preparations have earnestly begun.
Hence, Minister of Tourism, Patricia de Lille informed a deliberation at the 10th Fikani International Tourism Fair on Friday that as the Southern African Development Community and African Continent were planning on heightening their tourism marketing in the Continent, “special focus should also be directed at tapping into this G-20 Summit hosted by us South Africa and see how you can tap into that space.
“Surely, with the existing bilateral talks between African countries and organisations, you must seek how to attract these vast delegations to touch base before or after the summit and give them your best offerings, tourism wise or seek to obtain business therein.

“As we actively come together as African States, nurturing each other on best business principles, we’ll surely succeed to make our mark,” she told the delegates gathered at South Africa will host G20 2025 Summit – De Lille confirms at Fikani Fair this week which kicked off on Thursday 8 August and ends tomorrow Sunday 11 August.
