Roelf Kotze said there were various Park and Ride pickup points around the city. Some facilities like Hoerskool Bergvlam and Lowveld High charged R50 for parking. However, a snaking traffic jam on all roads leading to the stadium was visibility seen.

One spectator, Sibusiso Ntombela, told this publication he had to hop off the bus and walk to the venue. The question remains whether the municipality or the Stadium’s management communicated enough about the Park and Ride or spectators ignored it?
