Man arrested for allegedly raping baby mama

He went to drop off the child at his home on Saturday evening and returned later to find the mother of his child with another man.

Police arrested a man on Sunday, November 13 after a case of rape was reported. According to a report a scuffle broke out between the two at Mandela Village around 00:30am after the suspect banged and broke the door when she refused to open.

“The other male reportedly ran away as the man entered the house. The mother of the child was overpowered by the suspect who then allegedly raped her. He fled the scene but was arrested on the same day,” reads a statement. He will appear in the Bushbuckridge Magistrate’s Court today on charges of rape.
