Sundowns TS Galaxy match goes on despite Galaxy’s bus accident

TS Galaxy’s team bus was involved in a head-on collision on their way to Mbombela on yesterday.

Galaxy’s bus crashed with a vehicle along Schoemanskloof, but the Galaxy players and staff were not harmed. However, the woman driving the other vehicle was declared dead by emergency medical services. TRAC N4’s Solange Saores said the cause of the accident is unknown at this stage.

Today’s match is still on as the Premier Soccer League have not made any announcement regarding the incident at this stage. Rockets are hosting Mamelodi Sundowns for their PSL fixture at Mbombela Stadium tonight at 19:30pm.
