LEBOMBO – Three Mozambican nationals were arrested a few kilometres towards Lebombo Port of Entry for stolen vehicles yesterday at Komatipoort.
According to the police, they received a tip-off about two SUVs that were stolen in Edenvale and Garsfontein this month.

Leading to the recovery of the first vehicle, it was intercepted towards Komatipoort at about 16:20pm. Two suspects, the driver and a passenger, were arrested.

The second vehicle was recovered just after Komatipoort. The driver was arrested at about 21:00pm. All three suspects are expected to appear at the Komatipoort Magistrate’s Court today on charges of possession of suspected stolen vehicles.
“Police can not rule out possibilities of adding more charges in relation to the cases,” said the police.
