Police recover stolen vehicle after five years

A white Toyota Etios that was stolen five years ago was recovered by police during a crime intelligence operation in Standerton.

The operation led the police to a house in Meyerville where the suspicious vehicle was spotted. Upon arrival, the suspect fled, evading the arrest. “They investigated on the vehicle with no registration plates. They identified it as a vehicle stolen in Centurion, Gauteng province on May 2018.

The vehicle was confiscated and taken to Standerton SAPS. According to the police, they are still on the lookout for the suspect and hoping for an arrest soon.
