Tributes pour in for Masibuyele Kujehova member

Anna Fifi Mabuza passed away at Steve Biko Hospital in Tshwane on August 26.

Her death was confirmed by the founder of the group, Belina Nkosi. Manager of the group, Fakazi Gama, said Mabuza was admitted after her check-up. “Initially, she had gone for a check-up, but because of her condition, she was admitted and passed away around 20:00 on Thursday evening,” he said.

Anna Thabethe described Mabuza as a humble and kind person. “Although she was a lead singer, she never treated us as her backing vocals or threatened to pursue a solo career,” she said.

Premier Refilwe Mtshweni-Tsipane, accompanied by Sport and Recreation MEC, Thandi Shongwe and the Speaker of the Mpumalanga Legislature, Makhosazane Masilela, paid a visit to the bereaved family. A memorial service will be held Thursday, September 2, at the Elsheddai Church in Kanyamazane.
