Two die in Carolina accident

Two people died in an accident on the R38 between Carolina and Badplaas yesterday.

A mini bus taxi travelling Badplaas heading to Carolina when the driver lost control of the vehicle and overturned. Four other vehicles collided with the taxi leaving one person dead at the scene.

“A passenger from the taxi was killed on the spot and his skull was severely injured. Other passengers were transported by ambulances to Carolina Hospital.”

The first ambulance that arrived also collided with another vehicle on the scene. The road was closed. The ambulance transported victims to Carolina Hospital. Another victim died at the hospital.

Investigation in to the Culpable Homicide Continues. Drivers are advised to be patient and drive with caution as the road is misty.
