Mpumalanga Mirror was recently invited to a three-course lunch by Anande Mashinini (25). Hospitality has always been embedded in her family and close to her heart. She’s worked with her mother, Nelly Mashinini who owns Linga Longa Guest House even before going to culinary school.

Anande Mashinini (25) loves the idea of giving people a fine dining experience. The Michigan-born chef who returned to South Africa with her parents at the age of eight, describes her dishes as adding time to simple elements of food to create something different and more about the experience of eating than eating to get full.
