MKHONDO- A joint Heritage Indaba for farmers and farm workers was held last Friday by the by the Office of the Provincial Chief Whip.
This comes after a series of incidents that have taken place around Mkhondo and surrounding areas where a number of people were arrested for alleged murder cases.

Speaking to one of the farmers, Timothy Filter also known as “Sgila” he emaphasises on peace and unity among races in farms. “On behalf other white farmers, I apologize for we did not know what we were doing. So much has happened including people’s graves destroyed but we are truly sorry. We are now taking steps of understanding each other better,” he said.
