WATCH | Reckless truck driver arrested

A video of a truck with a Mpumalanga registration went viral on social media after a motorist captured the driver on video driving recklessly.

The driver was found and arrested. The incident occurred on the Kwa-Zulu Natal’s R34 Road. Community Safety, Security and Liaison, MEC Vusi Shongwe said the driver has put many lives in great danger.

“Such drivers should no longer be allowed on the road as they endanger other people’s lives. The driver does not deserve a driving license. Crashes that involve trucks have many fatalities, especially when public transport is involved,” he said in a statement.
