There will be water shortage at Thembisile Hani Local Municipality due to insufficient supply from Tshwane.
According to the municipality, the water shortage is affecting the Vula-Vala programme as water supply is insufficient to cover all the areas within the municipality, especially the high lying areas.

The following areas will be affected as we go into the weekend:
Kwaggafontein D, Mathyzensloop, Bundu, Machipe, Boekenhouthoek, Belfast, Buhlebuzile, Vlaklaagte no:2, Zakheni, Mandela, Luthuli, Zenzele, Gemsbokspruit, Verena C, Wolvenkop, Suncity A, B, C, D, and AA, Phola Park, Tweefontein D, C, B2, Moloto North and South. Members of the public are advised to use water sparingly. Water will be supplied through water tankers in the affected areas.
