The wife of the late police officer, Joseph Christopher Kutu with her accomplice Vincent Bonginkosi Langa were arrested on December 14 for murder.
They remanded the pair in custody today. Bail application is postponed to December 28. The suspect remains in custody.

In July, Patricia Kutu’s husband was fatally shot in the house. Police received a tip-off on the whereabouts of Langa, who was wanted for house robbery and murder.
“The police conducted an operation at a house in Siyabuswa A. We found him in the back room of the house he was renting. He was arrested and detained for further investigation.”

Further investigations revealed Patricia is linked to the murder and was arrested on December 16. Sergeant Joseph Christopher Kutu was a member of the Witbank Tactical Response Team.
