Buscor dismisses fake social media post

A fake social media post has been doing the rounds on social media falsely quoting the chairperson of Buscor, Norah Fakude.

The post further reads, “I can buy all your taxis if of you give that opportunity and the taxi ranks. I can operate the industry comfortably with all buses in operation. Your monthly instalments won’t be stopped by paying them and that only if you get back to work. I still maintain my response, I won’t talk to uneducated fools.

Buscor spokesperson Thomas Lubisi dismissed the post describing it as propaganda. “She would never say such a thing. It’s just people trying to instigate or perpetuate fake news. You can even confirm with her, she would never say such,” said Lubisi.
