MBOMBELA – A crash that occurred between two vehicles last night on the Karino intersection towards Mbombela has claimed the lives of two people.

According to the Department of Community, Safety, Security and Liaison, the deceased, driver and the passenger, were burnt beyond recognition when the vehicles caught fire.
One person who is a driver in one of the bakkies escaped with moderate injuries and was treated at the scene.
The police are investigating the crash.
