MZINTI- More than 20 supporters who rejoined the African National Congress (ANC) were welcomed back on Sunday.
This was during a campaign trail in the Nkomazi Sub-Region Ward 20 led by the ANC Provincial Chairperson, Mandla Ndlovu and Ehlanzeni Regional Chairperson, Jackie Macie as well as other members of the political party.

Addressing supporters, Ndlovu said although some had left to join other parties, it was wise of them to “return home.”
“These comrades are aware that the ANC is a home for us all. We are quite aware how much the people of Ward 20 love the ANC. During the door -to -door, some senior citizens assured me they would vote for us and pleaded with me to encourage young people who have joined the EFF to return home,” said Ndlovu.

Ndlovu’s sentiments were echoed by Deputy Minister for Basic Education, Reginah Mhaule who put an emphasis on the fact that casting a vote does is not to enrich leaders but it is for the benefit of society. “It is not about us but about serving the people and we have an obligation to ensure we serve,” she said.
