“The ANC will never fall” – Paul Mashatile

MBOMBELA – “When things go wrong, we need to rebuild and renew.”

Those were the words uttered by Deputy President Paul Mashatile at Church on the Hill during the African National Congress’s build up to the 112 Anniversary. Mashatile was accompanied by Provincial Chairperson, Mandla Ndlovu.

He mentioned that the ANC together with the churches think alike as they emphasize on the importance of rebuilding and renewal.

“Many will ask why the ANC hasn’t fallen, it is because it was built on a strong foundation. It shall never fall. I pride myself in the fact that I’ve lived within the ANC for the past 40 years,” he said.

Mashatile said the purpose of the church visits is to spend time with the people and to ensure the light keeps shining while the party campaigns.
“We don’t campaign in churches but we simply home because the the ANC was established in church.”

Present was NEC members Mahlengi Bhengu-Motsiri, Panyaza Lesufi, Bheki Cele, Ronald Lamola, Sasekani Manzini. The 112 Anniversary celebration is set to take place on Saturday, January 13 at Mbombela Stadium.
