A woman was found with parts found d her head decomposed in on Tuesday evening.
According to police, the body was discovered by herders who were passing by the road in Luphisi.
Social media posts about the unknown woman’s head being removed circulated but police have confirmed that the head had began decomposing.

Provincial police spokesperson, Colonel Donald Mdluli says the deceased was wearing jeans, a brown jacket and white socks.
“An inquest was initially opened but changed to a murder case. She has not been identified yet but police are checking on missing people’s records in other stations as well.”
This comes a month after an abducted woman’s body was found buried in a shallow grave in Luphisi. A week later, Junior Mabandla (6) and Peaceful Khoza’s body’s were discovered after a teen pointed out where he had buried them.
