Mpumalanga’s very own jewel in the music industry, Emalahleni-born DJ and producer, Ezra Mlotshwa, will be behind the decks at the Metro FM’s official after party hosted by RMM Events. He shares his anticipation of the prestigious awards.
1. Metro FM Awards are back, how do you feel about being part of this prestigious event?
It really is an honour to be chosen amongst many other artists across the country and more especially within the province.

2. What are your thoughts on the nominees in particular House/Dance genre?
Well deserved, as most of them are my close friends, I wish them all the luck in the world.
3. From your perspective, how would you define House Music in 2023?
There’s so much growth, and with growth also comes the politics which is the boring part, but nonetheless, it is massively growing. I’m happy with the direction it’s taking.

4. What can we expect from your set on the day?
Basically that they’re gonna get a very musical, vibrant, entertaining & also unique set from me.
5. Tell us about your latest offering, Hey, Come Dance With Me?
It’s a feel good EP, portraying my style of music and how carefree I am. Also In a way inviting people to my space and to hear how I perceive my music.
