There will be a joint Funeral Service for the nine learners who passed away following an accident on February 16.

The funeral service will be in Mayflower Stadium on February 24. The service will start 07:00 am. Following the intervention by the government, several departments have since provided support to the affected families and schools.
There is ongoing psychological counselling to the families, learners and educators. The government will also assist the families with burial arrangements.

The nine learners were on their way back home when the minibus they were travelling with lost control and overturned, leading to their death.
