A nurse’s body was discovered yesterday morning after his family reported him missing three weeks ago in Mhluzi, Middelburg.
According to SAPS, Trueman Nkabinde, who worked as a School Health Nurse, was found buried in his yard.
It is further alleged that the man arrested in connection with the nurse’s murder attempted to sell Nkabinde’s vehicle in Pretoria.
“The transaction came to the attention of authorities after someone attempted to register the vehicle in their name and they flagged it as belonging to a missing person on the system,” read the statement.

Health MEC Sasekani Manzini said the incident disturbed her. “The continuous attack and murder of our healthcare workers is a serious concern. We have witnessed many of them die in the hands of those that are supposed to protect them.”
“We always call on people to seek professional help if their relationships encounter problems and not resort to violence. The family of the deceased will get justice for the murder of their son. We send our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.”
