EMBALENHLE- A murder case is being investigated following the fatal shooting of a male victim (28) on the evening of Saturday, September 13 at Extension 12.
According to a report, police responded to a shooting incident and upon arrival, they discovered a lifeless body of a male who sustained gunshot wounds on his upper body. He was certified dead by paramedics at the scene.
Preliminary investigation indicates that the shooting followed an altercation between the victim and the suspect who is suspected to be a foreign national.

The foreign national is believed to have been running a spaza shop (tuck shop) in the area. The suspect is said to have shot the victim then fled the scene on foot when he noticed a group members of the community arriving in their numbers. It is further alleged that some of the community members went amok and began looting at the spaza shop. It is said that, during that moment, the suspect fled the scene and is still at large.
