“It is alleged that the suspects entered the park via Numbi Gate to avoid police operations on the N4. They probably planned to exit the park either via Malelane or Komatipoort gates. They refreshed at the Afsaal picnic area. Unknowingly, the tracker picked up the one of the vehicle’s signal. Tracker alerted the police and San Park security personnel who intercepted one vehicle. Upon interception, the suspect revealed there was a second stolen vehicle in the picnic area and that led to the arrest of the second suspect,” read the police statement.
