WATCH | Mashishing protest going strong a week later

The community of Mashishing are up in arms over the lack of employment opportunities and inconsistent municipal billing. 

A resident, Joel Pompi Ledwaba told Mpumalanga Mirror that the there was unrest in the community and there were expecting the mayor, Friddah Nkadimeng to address them at the local stadium today. 

The municipality released a statement yesterday stating that it want to engage with the leaders of the protest and come up with a solution.
