The long-awaited ANC provincial conference is postponed again for the umpteenth time.
Provincial convenor, Mandla Ndlovu, confirmed the postponement. He said the conference will, however, sit this month.

“The conference will not sit this weekend because we’re waiting for disputes resolutions from the National Dispute Committee. We have shifted it from this weekend. “We’re on the last lap of our preparations. We’re ready to go to the conference and will wait as soon as we’re cleared by the National Disputes Committee. Branches are ready and we are ready, too,” he pronounced.

Asked if it’s certainly going to be held in Nkangala District as opposed to Ehlanzeni, where provincial conferences have been held until 2015, he said, “It depends if they will accommodate 800 delegates. That’s one of the thorny issues that need to be resolved. Otherwise, we’re ready,” said Ndlovu.
