Mpumalanga Department of Education held National Teacher’s Awards yesterday at Nutting House. Various teachers won awards for their good work in their profession.

This was a platform to appreciate teachers who rose above the expected norm by executing their tasks to the best interests of learners and stakeholders.
Through the National Teaching Awards, the Department envisaged that learners will be motivated to take teaching as a career choice as they witness the importance of teaching as a profession.
