Moja Love’s Sizokthola program hailed in Mpumalanga Provincial Legislature

Member of the Mpumalanga Provincial Legislature, Lindiwe Ntshalintshali raised a motion in the house that communities should give support to the Moja Love drug-busting program, “Sizokuthola” which has done tremendous work nationally, including Middelburg here in the province.

“My call is also for the community and police to assist this program to fight drugs in the province further. It can be appropriate for community members to share drug-related information with the producers of this program so that we can rid our province of this scourge that is destroying the youth in big numbers. In the same vein, the local police should also work with this program’s producers, too,” she said.

It was yesterday, June 13, during budget speech debate of the Mpumalanga Department of Community safety, Security and Liaison as MEC Vusi Shongwe was outlining how they will be tackling crime in the province.

Shongwe said police will work with them as is the case all over where they are busting drug dealers. “Yes, our police will work with em as is the case all over where they are busting drug dealers.”
